This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information, including information related to SMS/text messaging on our RingCentral VoIP and toll-free (800-style) numbers.

By using our website, contacting us, or opting in to text messages, you agree to this Policy and to the SMS Terms and Conditions below. Furthermore, your insurance carrier, agent or other representatives may have previously provided your contact information to us.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect:

  • Business and claim-related information you provide when requesting an inspection, report, or consultation
  • Communications content: emails, voicemails, call records, and SMS/MMS message content you send or receive with us

  • SMS program data: the mobile number you provide, the date/time and method of opt-in, opt-out requests, and message logs needed to deliver and document texts

We do not use SMS to sell unrelated products. Message frequency varies based on your matter. Message and data rates may apply.

3. SMS / Text Messaging

We use a VOIP system to send and receive voice and SMS/MMS on our business and toll-free numbers.

Required disclosure for SMS programs

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. SMS opt-in or phone numbers collected for SMS purposes are not shared with third parties or affiliates.

Consent. We send texts only after you provide consent (for example a web form checkbox, written authorization, verbal consent that we log, or by texting us first, or by providing your information to the party that has asked us to contact you to resolve your service request). Consent is not a condition of purchasing services.

Opt out. Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You may also reply END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. We will honor opt-out requests promptly. After opting out you may receive a single confirmation message.

Help. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact us using the information below.

Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only as needed to operate our practice:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf, including RingCentral (voice/SMS platform). They may use the information only to deliver the service we request.
  • Clients, carriers, public adjusters, attorneys, and other authorized parties when necessary to perform an inspection or report you or your representative requested
  • Legal and safety disclosures when required by law, court order, licensing board, or to protect rights, safety, or property

We do not sell personal information. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.

5. Retention

We keep business records, including communications related to engineering work, for as long as needed for professional, legal, tax, and insurance purposes. SMS logs and consent records are retained as needed to demonstrate compliance with carrier and TCPA requirements, then deleted or archived according to our record-retention practices.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to a professional engineering practice, including access controls on our communications systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

7. Your Choices

  • Opt out of SMS as described above
  • Request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold, subject to legal and professional recordkeeping duties
  • California and other state residents may have additional rights regarding sale/sharing of personal information; we do not sell personal information

9. Changes (Last updated September 24, 2026)
